StockIQ — Sister-App Integrations
Run StockIQ next to another Kernvel app and extra capabilities switch on automatically — no code, just a toggle.
StockIQ is one of Kernvel's ecosystem apps designed to work as one suite. On its own it's a complete inventory-forecasting platform. But the moment you also run one of its sister apps, new cross-app capabilities light up — and you turn them on with a single switch.

How Connections Work
Every Kernvel app can talk to its sister apps privately and automatically. The idea is simple:
Run StockIQ + another Kernvel app together, and you also get a capability that neither app could deliver alone. Turn it on in Connections.
Open the Connections screen inside StockIQ. You'll see a card for each available integration. Each card tells you what the connection does, the benefit, a real-world example, and its current state:
- Connected — the sister app is installed and active; the capability is live.
- Available — the sister app isn't installed yet (there's a link to install it).
- Off / On — for the connections you control directly, a toggle to turn the data exchange on or off per sister app.
There's nothing to configure beyond the toggle. No API keys, no webhooks to wire, no developer needed.
Your Privacy
Cross-app connections are built to share only the minimum needed and nothing more:
- The apps exchange things like product IDs, unit counts, stock flags, and demand counts — never raw customer lists, never personal data passed around between apps.
- Each connection is authenticated privately between the two apps.
- You control every connection. Turn any of them off at any time, and the data exchange stops.
When a connection involves customers (for example, emailing shoppers when an item is back in stock), the app that owns the customer relationship — and its consent rules and sending caps — handles that side. StockIQ just signals "this product is back"; it never sends customer data out.
Back-in-Stock Alerts (with ListIQ)
What you get: When a sold-out item comes back into stock, the shoppers who wishlisted it on Kernvel ListIQ get emailed automatically — no manual list-building, no separate export.
How it works in plain terms: StockIQ already knows the exact moment a product crosses from sold-out back to available (it's watching your inventory in real time). When that happens, it sends ListIQ a small "this product is back" signal. ListIQ looks up the shoppers who had that item on their wishlist and notifies them — using its own consent rules, email queue, and billing caps. StockIQ sends no customer data; ListIQ owns that relationship.
Example: A sold-out dress gets 24 units back in stock. ListIQ alerts the waiting wishlisters automatically, so the demand you already captured turns into sales instead of evaporating.
Turn it on: In StockIQ's Connections screen, switch on Back-in-stock fan-out. (Install Kernvel ListIQ first if you haven't — there's an install link on the card.) When it's on, the card shows "Sending restock events."
This pairs perfectly with StockIQ's own back-in-stock capture widget: the widget rebuilds demand on your product pages, and ListIQ turns that demand into emails the instant stock returns.
Member-First Restocks (with GateIQ)
What you get: Restocked items can open to your members first, at a members-only price, before they open to everyone else — powered by Kernvel GateIQ.
How it works in plain terms: Just like the ListIQ connection, StockIQ fires a "this product is back" signal on a sold-out-to-available transition. GateIQ receives it and gives your configured membership tiers an early-access window on the fresh stock, and stores the member-price metadata its discount runtime needs at checkout. StockIQ sends no customer data — GateIQ owns the membership relationship.
Example: VIP members get the first 6 hours on a restocked sneaker before it opens to the general public — rewarding loyalty and creating urgency at the same time.
Turn it on: In StockIQ's Connections screen, switch on Member-first restocks. (Install Kernvel GateIQ first if needed.) When it's on, the card shows "Sending member perks."
Note: the actual early-access window and member pricing are configured inside GateIQ, and checkout-time price enforcement is activated per store there. StockIQ's job is to signal the restock; GateIQ decides what members get.
Dead-Stock Liquidation Auctions (with AuctionAI)
What you get: Turn slow or dead inventory into cash by pushing it straight into Kernvel AI Auction (AuctionAI) as a liquidation lot — and let buyers compete for it.
How it works in plain terms: StockIQ already identifies your dead stock (see the Dead Stock screen). For any dead-stock product, click Send to Auction. StockIQ hands the product to AuctionAI, which creates a liquidation auction for it. The liquidation status — Listed, Queued, or Failed — and a link to the live auction appear right on StockIQ's Dead Stock page, so you can track recovery without leaving StockIQ. The hand-off is reliable by design: StockIQ records the request before it ever calls AuctionAI, so a hiccup never double-lists an item and a failed send is retried safely.
Example: A style that hasn't sold in months gets listed as an auction; instead of writing it off, you recover whatever the market will pay — and AuctionAI counts it against its own plan, not StockIQ's.
Turn it on: This one is driven from StockIQ's Dead Stock screen — the Send to Auction button appears (and the connection reports as active) once Kernvel AI Auction is installed and connected. The Dead Stock page shows whether AuctionAI is connected.
Product 360 (the unified product cockpit)
What you get: One product view that pulls everything about a product together — demand, stock, returns, and unmet-search signals — instead of you opening five apps to piece it together.
How it works in plain terms: Open any product in StockIQ to see its Product 360 cockpit. On its own, StockIQ fills in inventory, forecast, safety stock, and sales. When sister apps are connected, the cockpit's panels enrich automatically:
- ReturnsIQ adds the product's return behavior, so a high-return item is obvious at a glance.
- SearchIQ adds unmet-search demand, so you can see shoppers are asking for this (or a near-match) and not finding it.
Each panel shows its own state — Live, Unavailable, or Disabled — so you always know which data is fresh and which sister app would light a panel up if you connected it. The view assembles in parallel and stays resilient: if one source is briefly unavailable, the rest still render.
Example: Before you reorder a jacket, one screen shows you it sells well, returns 30% of the time, and 80 shoppers searched for it last week — so you order the right quantity, net of returns, with confidence the demand is real.
Turn it on: Product 360 is built into StockIQ's product view. Connect ReturnsIQ and SearchIQ (in Connections) to enrich the extra panels.
Net-Demand Forecasting (with ReturnsIQ)
What you get: Forecast on orders minus returns, so you stop over-ordering the styles that come back — and stop double-stocking units that are about to be returned anyway.
How it works in plain terms: StockIQ pulls your settled return rates from Kernvel ReturnsIQ (per SKU, units only — never customer data). It then scales each product's forecast down by that return rate, so the number you order reflects what customers actually keep, not just what they buy. The forecast detail is fully transparent: it shows you both the gross figure and the net figure, plus the return rate that was applied.
Example: A jacket that's returned 40% of the time gets reordered for its true sell-through, not its gross order count — so you free up the cash you'd otherwise sink into returned inventory.
Turn it on: In StockIQ's Connections screen, switch on Net-demand forecasting. (Install Kernvel ReturnsIQ first if needed.) When it's on, the card shows "Applied to forecasts," and forecasts for products with return data carry a Net badge.
Assortment Gaps from Unmet Search (with SearchIQ)
What you get: A ready-made sourcing list built from what shoppers search for on your store but can't find — turn unmet demand into your next purchase decision.
How it works in plain terms: Kernvel SearchIQ records the searches on your store that return no results (or near-misses). It sends StockIQ those no-result demand counts — search terms and how many people searched them, with no personal data attached. StockIQ surfaces them as an assortment-gap list you can work through: each row shows the search term, how many shoppers wanted it, and example attributes. Mark each as open, planned, or dismissed as you decide what to source.
Example: 147 shoppers searched "linen blazer" and found nothing. Instead of guessing what to stock next, you add a product your customers are already asking for.
Turn it on: In StockIQ's Connections screen, switch on Assortment gaps. (Install Kernvel Image SearchIQ first if needed.) When it's on, the card shows "Applied to assortment gaps."
Stock-Aware Search Ranking (feeds SearchIQ)
What you get: Your store's search results favor well-stocked products and ease off near-sold-out ones — so search promotes inventory you can actually ship.
How it works in plain terms: This is the mirror image of assortment gaps — here StockIQ is the source. StockIQ shares a per-product stock signal (a simple stock band plus stockout-risk and overstock flags — no customer data) that Kernvel SearchIQ reads into its search index. SearchIQ then re-ranks results so healthy-stock items rise and almost-gone items sink. The net effect: fewer shoppers click into something that's about to be unavailable, and your best-stocked products get the visibility.
Example: Two similar shirts match a search; the one with 200 units in stock ranks above the one down to its last 2 — so search drives sales toward inventory that's there to sell.
Turn it on: This connection lights up once Kernvel Image SearchIQ is installed and connected — SearchIQ pulls StockIQ's stock signals on its own schedule. You manage SearchIQ's ranking behavior inside SearchIQ.
